FORMAT
Qualifying: 4-games across 4 pairs of lanes.
Match Play: Cut to top 15 (based on full field of 60 entries), then bowlers are seeded into a bracket. Single-game elimination matches for those who qualify.
Prize Ratio:  A minimum of 1 in 4 entries will cash in this event.

***$5 per entry is going toward a point system for 5 events in this area.  Dec. 17 in Lakeview is one of the other events, and the others are still being booked***

FORMAT A
Qualifying: 6-games across 6 pairs of lanes.
Match Play: Cut to top 16 (based on 64 entries), then bowlers are seeded into a bracket. 2-game matches until top 4 remain. 3-game round robin final for the top 4 with 30-pin bonus for each win.  Pins drop after qualifying.
Prize Ratio:  A minimum of 1 in 4 entries will cash in this event

FORMAT IS BASED ON A FIELD OF 64 BOWLERS
With 45-64 bowlers, top 1/4 qualify for match play.  
With 65-92 bowlers, the top 16 qualify for match play, and extra spots will be paid.  
With 93+ entries, the top 1/4 will qualify for match play.

INCENTIVES
With a minimum of 3 senior bowlers (50 and up), the highest non-cashing senior bowler will receive $100
With a minimum of 3 lady bowlers, the highest non-cashing lady will receive $100

LADIES QUAILFYING CLASSIC DIVISION
For an additional $40, ladies can enter into the Ladies Midwest Qualifying Tournament.  1 in 10 ladies qualify and 1 in 5 cash in this division.  We will determine the location and date of the finals once we have the field set, and we will find a date that works for all qualifying ladies.  Ladies can also ONLY enter this ladies division and not the Akron Open.  $40 prize fund fee plus $25 toward lineage/expenses for a total of $65 entry will be the cost for those only entering the ladies division.  6-game total pinfall will determine the the standings of this qualifying event.

FORMAT A
Qualifying: 5-games across 5 pairs of lanes.
Eliminator: Cut to top 32 (based on 126 entries), then bowlers compete in a 2-game eliminator round cutting the field in half.  Each eliminator round following the first round will be 1-game rounds.  Pins drop after every round, although we will have 1 wild card in the first round.  Wild card will be the highest total pinfall score who wasn't in the top half for that round.  With 126 entries, the top 32 would make the cut and cut to 15+1.  16 would cut to 8.  8 cut to 4.  4 cut to 2.  One game for the final 2.
Prize Ratio:  A minimum of 1 in 4 entries will cash in this event

LADIES QUAILFYING CLASSIC DIVISION

Prize Ratio:  A minimum of 1 in 4 entries will cash in this event.  17th and 18th would also be paid with 72 entries.
