This is the first Brunswick Open Challenge!! Limited to the first 48 bowlers with a paid deposit. Two day event that will be lived streamed. Only 8 bowling balls will be allowed per bowler.

Actual Singles Bowling Tournament. $75 entry fee. 5 game qualifier. Take 1 out of 4 entries to elimination rounds. In addition, 1 out of 5 bowlers who are 50 and over that do not make the original cut will also advance. 1 game elimination rounds to a winner. See entry for details.

The 2nd event of the 2021-2022 DV8 / Ed Rondot's Pro Shop Shootout Series is the BEL MARK CHALLENGE hosted by Bel Mark Lanes, and will be held on Sunday, October 3rd @ 1:00pm. Entries will close promptly at 12:20PM that day..

This is a regular Shootout stop, so it'll have the usual $40 entry fee. Three games of handicap score qualifying (80% from 230), MOVING PAIRS for all 3 games, with the top 16 to 24 bowlers cashing and advancing to the single-game elimination matches determined by luck of the draw. At least one in four bowlers will cash! Remember, all Champions in the Shootout Series during this season earn a bye into the match play of the Grand Finale in August which features a $1,000 Champion's prize guaranteed by Ed Rondot's Pro Shop Shootout Series (must compete in three Shootouts during the 2021-2022 season to claim the bye).
As always, Brackets and Jackpots will be available. Brackets are $5 each and there will be scratch and handicap brackets available. Jackpots cost $10 for scratch and/or $10 for handicap, and that covers all 3 games and totals (we break down the pots 20% for each game and 40% for totals). Number of places paid in the pots depends on number of bowlers who get in.
We also have a Mystery Game available! $5 to get in. $2 goes towards the first game, $2 for the second game, and $1 for the Cumulative Jackpot for which we draw one number only and carry it over to the next Shootout if nobody claims it.
As much as we hate to say this, it has become virtually mandatory to get your paid entry in early if you wish to bowl with family/friends on the same lanes during the qualifying round. When all of those entries are turned in and paid, we'll be glad to set you up on the same lanes.
There are four ways to enter this Shootout early:
1. Drop it off at Ed Rondot's Pro Shop
2. Drop it off at the Host Centers’ front counter
3. Brighton area residents can hand them to Jennifer Scott or the front counter staff at Brighton Bowl. (NOTE: This method of entry is available only until the Tuesday evening prior to the Shootout starting 9/21)
4. Get an envelope, put a stamp on it, and mail your form and entry fee to Ed Rondot's Pro Shop, 830 Woodland Dr., Saline MI 48176. Please make check payable to BelMark Lanes or Ed Rondot’s Pro Shop.
DV8 BOWLING has again supplied a brand-new, state-of-the-art bowling ball which we will raffle off during the tournament. The raffle winner will not only get that ball, but also receive free drilling and grips from Ed Rondot himself. The entire package is worth nearly $250! Proceeds from these DV8 raffles go directly to the Grand Finale prize fund.

 Bowl 40 Baker Games (Bowl each Team once with Bonus Pins, Following a Team Matchup Schedule)
 Bowl 20 Games then Lunch Break (1 Hour) Bowl 20 Games.

 There is Re-Oil between blocks but NOT for the Finals.

 Top 7 Teams Cash — Top 5 Make Final Step Ladder (2 Game Total Pinfall Matches)

 Juniors (SMART Acct Bowlers) cannot bowl this event due to USBC Rule 400

 1 PBA Bowler Maximum per Team
 1 PWBA Bowler Maximum per Team ((OR)) you may have 2 PWBA Bowlers on a Team with no PBA Member

 Each Team will be Bowling Another Team and Change Lanes after each Game/Match. Each Team is given 40 Pins Bonus for a win. 20 Pins for a Tie. 0 Pins for a Loss

 This will be Bowled on a Modified House Shot at AMF Mt Lebanon (Which I will also post the graph for transparency)

Finals Format

 Two game total pinfall in finals. Pins will NOT carry over from Qualifying. Step Ladder for TOP 5. Sixth and Seventh will cash but not make the step ladder finals.
