Format:

Quaifying- 1 squad Friday and 4 Saturday

Friday 7PM
Saturday 8:30AM, 12PM, 4PM, 8PM

Squad leader of 8:30am squad receives $50.

MAX SQUAD SIZE IS 72 BOWLERS

5 games of qualifying moving pairs each game. The top 1:5 players from each squad will advance to the Sunday Cashers Round.

If players bowl more than one squad, their first advancing squad will be counted but their highest pinfall total will be used for Sunday.

Any ties for the final advancing spot from a squad will be determined be broken by a 9th and 10th frame roll-off.

Sunday Finals 10AM

All those who advanced will bowl 5 additional games to add to their total from qualifying. The top 8 ten game totals will advance to the Matchplay Round.

Matchplay will consist of 2-game total matches. Winners will be re-seeded based on their new 12 game total for the next round. (Qualifying + Cashers + 2 Games). This process of matchplay will continue until we are down to the final four players. Those four players will then bowl in 1 game matches in a Stepladder format to determine the 1st Annual Colerain Open Champion! Seeding for the stepladder will be based on the total pinfall from all rounds of competition.

Brackets, Jackpots, Eliminators, and Raffles will be provided.

ALL TOURNAMENT RULINGS WILL BE MADE BY TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS AND THEIR DECISION IS FINAL

ENTRY FEES
If you have spent $145 or more in MSBS entry fees since April 2017, then your entry fee for this event will be $100
If you have bowled in any MSBS event since August 2012 and spent less than $145 in entry fees since April 2017, then your entry fee for this event will be $120

QUALIFYING SQUAD
Squad A (limited to 120 entries) -- 11:00am; Check-In 9:30am - 10:50am

FORMAT (based on 120 entries)
Qualifying: 6-games across 6 pairs of lanes.
Round 2: Cut to top 30 (based on 120 entries), then bowlers will bowl 3 more games (pins carrying over).
Round 3: Cut to top 15 based on 9-game total pinfall plus 1 wild card (highest Round 2 three-game score who did NOT advance) Bowlers will then bowl 3 more games (pins carrying over).
Final Round: Top 4 bowlers bowl a 3-game round robin with 30-pin bonus to the winner of each match (pins carry over from earlier rounds also).

Prize Ratio: A minimum of 1 in 4 entries will cash in this event
INCENTIVES
With a minimum of 3 senior bowlers (50 and up), the highest non-cashing senior bowler will receive $120
With a minimum of 3 lady bowlers, the highest non-cashing lady will receive $120
